Shoot it, Cook it, Eat it...but not in that order

I've been cooking since before college. That's some 15 years or so now. I've been actively pursuing photography for a 5th of that time. Here is where the two come together: "Shoot it, Cook it, Eat it...but not in that order". Actually, I cook it, then shoot it, and hopefully I get to eat it while it's still warm.

In this gallery, I'll be posting random pictures of food I've prepared. In most cases, these are single dish meals I've prepared for myself -- cooking relaxes me. Recently, I've started working with a flash and an umbrella, while at the same time trying to cook more healthy food. Thus, I've begun to ramp up the food photography. I really would like to write a cookbook some day...
